How We Build

Every product at Crafted Classics USA starts with a problem worth solving. We don’t design by committee or trend forecasting. We design by going outside, identifying what’s missing, and building something better.

The Process

01 — Concept

Every product begins with a gap identified on real terrain. What’s missing? What fails on a long run or a full day outside? We start with questions, not answers.

02 — Materials Research

We obsess over materials before cutting a single sample. UPF ratings, moisture management, durability under UV exposure, fit across a range of head sizes — every spec gets scrutinized.

03 — Prototyping

Early samples are rough. That’s the point. We make them ugly, test them hard, and learn what breaks. Then we iterate.

04 — Field Testing

Every prototype goes into real conditions — trail runs, travel days, desert heat, coastal humidity. If it doesn’t hold up, it goes back to the drawing board.

05 — Refinement

Final builds are the result of dozens of decisions, each made with a clear purpose. By the time a product ships, it’s earned its place.

Technical Running Hat

Lightweight, structured, breathable. Designed for high-output activities in direct sun. Currently in materials testing phase.

Performance Headbands

Width, grip, and moisture management optimized through iteration. Multiple widths and fabrics being evaluated.

Adventure Sunshirt

UPF 50+ with a technical fit that works for both the trail and the airport. Design phase in progress.
